  Some of the best sushi that I've eaten which is interesting given it's all the way up in a remote town of Whitehorse. Staff are friendly and provide great service. They did catering for a medium sized group and the food arrived on time and was very popular.

  We were visiting from out of town and Asahiya was recommended to us by locals. It is a quiet restaurant with muted lighting and Japanese decor. It felt cozy and warm and the service was great. The wait staff was more than willing to answer questions which is good since the menues were not as descriptive as I would have liked. The food was great, the rolls were well made and very tasty. If you haven't tried it I have to recommend the pumpkin tempura, it sounds a little odd but I promise it's fantastic. Pricing was moderate.
